Get to know our cellar

The vineyard data have been archived since 1901. Labelled as AOC, Cotes de Provence or Vin de Pays du Var, The ‘pays des Embiez’ wine from Les Embiez is available in the three colours: rose one (easy-drinking wine with a fruity aroma), white one (aromatic wine with a citrusy aftertaste) and red one (an intense Merlot wine with a fine ruby red colour).

We have also the ‘Cote de Provence’ rose, a perfectly-balanced wine, very fresh in the mouth, with a sublime pink colour.

The Embiez Island vineyard (10 hectares) produces Vin de pays and AOC Cote de Provence label.

The yearly global production is around 30.000 bottles, depending on weather conditions.

You can taste these wines in the Cellar, in the island restaurants or you can buy it at the harbour’s master office outside summer season.

The Cellar is opened every day in July and August, except on Thursday.

Tasting is possible on demand.

Vineyards

Visits and introductions to wine for groups

The single vineyard from the city of Six-Fours-Les-Plages. Thereabouts ten hectares, always sunny. It allows to holidaymakers to share the Grape Harvest Fair every year (early Grape Harvest); The grape harvests begin  in mid-August. That is one more reason for visiting Les Embiez !

Grape harvests continue until the end of September, depending to grape varieties. They will produce rose wine, made from 70% Cinsault and 30% Grenache grape varieties; white wine, made from 60% Ugni and 40% Sauvignon, red wine, with 75% of Merlot and 25% of Cabernet (matured in oak barrels)

Côte de Provence wine is the product with 80% Grenache and 20% Cinsault…

Introductory visits and wine tastings are organised at the vineyard, on demand, please consult us.

Cellar shop is opened from 04/07 to 31/08 –consult us if you want other dates. Wine tasting is possible on demand.
