Welcome
Explore a little piece of paradise

Here nature extends as far as the eye can see. No cars on the roads or built-up beaches, not a superfluous parasol or sunbed. And if you explore just a little, you will find unspoilt inlets where you can bathe in crystalline waters.

Only 12 minutes away by boat, from the tiny port of Le Brusc, lies Les Embiez, with its 95 hectares, the quintessential Nature island for family holidays.

The island was purchased by Paul Ricard in 1958 and was developed by his hand alone. Since then the island has become a mecca for tourism and leisure.

A dream port of call for seafarers, ocean depths to entrance the diver… the beaches and inlets on the island are just what it takes to delight the whole family.

Walkers, cyclists and passengers on the little train can walk or ride round the island and explore its pine forests, its vineyards and its trails.

The island offers a variety of restaurants, high-quality accommodation and a wide range of different activities such as diving clubs, tennis courts, or the aquarium museum of the Paul Ricard Oceanographic Institute.

Amenities and services

On the island there are two hotels, Le Canoubié and L’Hélios; and there is also a Guest House of charm: Le Mas des Romarins… Several restaurants: Chez Charles, Le Barbecue, Le Garlaban, L’Hélios, Le Citron Vert… A Casino mini supermarket, souvenir and clothes shops, a ship’s outfitters, bars and ice cream parlours, a snack bar, a delicatessen selling roast meats, a pizzeria, a ticket-vending machine at the harbour master’s office and a post office…

Sun, sea, nature… Life at Les Embiez combines these three elements in luxurious abundance.  A simple life where everything is done to guarantee you peace and quiet. In the course of a single day you can enjoy water-based sports or simply laze the hours away. Or you might fancy some intellectual stimulation in one of the discussion groups (Marine Workshops for children or lectures), ride round the island on a little train, taste the local wines, enjoy the beach shops, explore the nature trail, or even gaze in wonder at the protected species in the aquarium...

Not to mention the leisure amenities which include eleven tennis courts and six petanque grounds. Not to mention several football grounds, an amphitheatre, a water sports centre, a pine forest... and two large theatres (Salle Marcel Pagnol and Salle Sainte Marthe).
