Only 12 minutes away by boat, from the tiny port of Le Brusc, Les Embiez, with its 6.7 square miles, is the quintessential Nature island for family holidays.

The island was purchased in 1958 by Paul Ricard who worked it up himself. Then, the island turned into a place where tourism and leisure meet each other to become a place of serenity.

A dream island for seafarers where divers can enjoy wonderful sea depths... Beaches and inlets on the island delight both children and their parents.

Walkers, cyclists and passengers of the “little train” can have a walk or ride across the island to explore its pine forests, its vineyards and its trails.

The island offers a variety of restaurants, high-quality accommodation and a wide range of different activities such as diving clubs, tennis courts, or the museum-aquarium of the Institut Oceanographique Paul Ricard.

On the island, you will find two hotels (Le Canoubie and L’Helios) and a charming Guest House (Le Mas des Romarins).

Many restaurants are waiting for you: Chez Charles, Le Barbecue, L’Helios, Le Citron Vert. You will also find everything you need such as a Casino mini supermarket, souvenir and clothes shops, a ship chandler store, bars that also sell ice-creams, a snack bar, a steakhouse, a pizzeria, an ATM in the harbourmaster's office and a post office.

Sun, Sea, nature, life in Les Embiez combines these three elements in luxurious abundance. Les Embiez is a quiet natural place that will provide you peace and harmony.

In a single day, you can enjoy water-based sports or have a rest on beaches for hours. You might have fun in one of our discussion groups (Ateliers de la Mer for children or lectures), ride bikes through the island, taste local wines, enjoy the beach shops, explore nature trails or be amazed by threatened species in the aquarium.
